Who Can Race?

1. Do I need a drivers license?

You don't need a driving licence to race at the circuit. All drivers are given a full safety briefing with guidance to ensure a great karting experience with us before their first session.

To race our junior karts, we have a minimum height of 1.35m. We allow adults to also drive in the junior karts as we have alot of adult chassis to accommodate family and junior sessions.

We don't specifically have an adult kart height restriction as everyone has different body types and proportions. We have pedals that can be adjusted to fit comfortably.

All junior drivers must be a minimum age of 8yrs old.

Even if they have driven go-karts before and are under the age limit they cannot drive with us due to insurance and risk assessment policies.

The age restriction still applies.

There isn't a specific limit on our karts, as everyone's body build is different. You would need to fit into the kart and get out of it comfortably. We recommend you popping down to the circuit to test out the seating to be safe.

Your safety is of paramount importance to us. For any situation other than the norm we would ask the following questions.

Do all drivers have full use of limbs / bodily functions?

Can all drivers understand, comprehend and follow instructions?

Can all drivers get themselves in and out of the kart unaided?

Are all drivers able to hold a full uk driving licence once they are old enough?

Can the driver be left unattended?

If the answer to any of these questions is no, then we likely cannot allow you to participate.

Do you have any medical conditions including heart conditions, back and neck problems, epilepsy, seizures or fits or other known health issues?

The go karts reach quite a high speed and once the kart has left the pits the driver has sole responsibility for the kart, so must be able to fully comprehend the instructions given.

Junior Karting

1. Can my child drive on their own?

Yes, we have family and junior sessions specifically for children and adults to race together. Adults can not drive adult class karts in our junior sessions.

They are specifically for a karting experience to enjoy safely together in the same class karts.

No, all our karts are single seaters.

All drivers under the age of 16 years old, must be signed in by an accompanying adult (over 18yrs). You must sign a disclaimer with their name, address and sign on their behalf agreeing to our terms and conditions.

Children under the age of 16yrs must always be accompanied by an adult over 18yrs old. Children must not be left unaccompanied if their parent / guardian is not at the circuit.

What to Wear

1. What clothes should I wear?

We suggest you wear comfortable clothing, nothing new as you may get sweaty and dirty.

We provide you with a race suit and helmet. We also provide hair nets for long hair. You will need a balaclava and gloves (both of which can be purchased on arrival). You're welcome to bring your own balaclava gloves racesuit and helmet, subject to approval of our race team.

Trainers are ideal footwear to wear karting. All shoes must be closed around the foot, no flip flops, crocs, sandals or open shoes.

No, we do not allow any on board cameras at our circuit.

The race suit must cover all clothing, and you may not wear any clothing items over the race suit. You can wear fancy dress / novelty items off the track.

BOOKING KARTING SESSIONS

1. Do I need to book arrive and drive sessions?

No, we don't book in these sessions. All you need to do is call us the day before coming out to the circuit for best arrival times.

Yes, we require events to be booked in with a non refundable deposit to secure your preferred time and date for your event.

PAYMENT

1. What payment methods do you accept?

Payments are accepted by debit card or cash. We do not accept credit cards.

Yes, gift vouchers can be purchased and are valid for 6 months from date of issue/payment. 

No, all events booked are non refundable.

No, we don't offer discounts. We already apply a discount to the consecutive sessions if you choose to do more than one. This keeps our pricing fair for everybody.
